A weekend to enjoy
Our weekend away at Harmans Cross is a great opportunity to spend time together and be encouraged as a church family. There’s the option to camp overnight on site, or just to come for the day. You can choose which of the main meetings you want to come to (see below), giving you flexibility for how you plan your day. There will be a rounders match, picnic lunch, and evening hog-roast onsite, as well as the chance to take a train ride to Corfe Castle or Swanage, or explore the Purbecks on foot.

Delighting in God (2 Corinthians 3-4)
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” 2 Corinthians 3:18
We will be joined by Tim Gamston, pastor of Broadstone Baptist Church, who will be doing talks on Saturday morning and afternoon in Harman’s Cross, and at St John’s on Sunday morning.
Tim was converted at the age of eleven while on holiday in South Wales. After leaving school Tim served an engineering apprenticeship. He remained in engineering, as Contracts Manager for an international engineering company in the Midlands, until he moved with his family to take up the pastorate at Broadstone Baptist Church in July 2005. Tim is committed to teaching God's word and showing how it is relevant for our lives in the 21st Century. His hobbies include sailing and walking. He is married to Joanna and they have three children, Joshua, Rebekah and Edward.
