Sunday Services

Our usual Sunday services are at 9.30am, 11am and 6.30pm. From Sunday 5 June until the end of August our morning services will come together in one service at 10.30am. All are broadcast live on our website (and Facebook/YouTube/phone-in) or you are welcome to join us in the building. Details of the services can be viewed here.

Please can we remind you to comply with Covid safety precautions when you come to the church for services:

Please remember to sanitise your hands on arrival at the church and be thoughtful of others by allowing space when moving around the building and when choosing where you sit. Wearing face coverings is still advisory for those who wish to wear one.

St John’s Church Family

We are a busy church community with a wide range of services, events and group activities each week throughout the year. More information can be found in the ‘About Us’ and ‘What We Do’ sections of our website.

Church Family Members receive our St John’s Weekly News each week by email, by post or hand-delivered. Please contact the Church Office if you wish to receive this or click here.

When we meet together as a church family we love to sing God’s praises, pray together, and hear the Bible read and taught, with groups for children and young people to learn more about God and how to live for him every day.

We encourage all of the St John’s church family to reach out to our neighbours and community, sharing the love of  Jesus, as well as keeping in contact with each other.

Our doors are open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey, so whether you are just starting to ask questions about God or are a committed Christian wanting to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at St. John’s. We look forward to meeting you soon!

If you’re interested in booking the church for an event, you can check availability by contacting the Church Office on 01202 842255 or emailing office@stjohnswimborne.org.uk
