Tearfund’s partners in Venezuela are working in extremely difficult conditions. Despite crumbling buildings, power outages, and telecommunications failures, they’re responding to the practical and emotional needs in areas most affected by the earthquakes, including La Guaira, Caracas, and surrounding regions.
We’ve seen the powerful response of local churches when disaster strikes. Through a coordinated effort of church networks, Tearfund’s local partners are offering emergency food and shelter to the countless people who have lost their homes and livelihoods, medical care for the injured and trauma support to survivors.

Please pray for the survivors and the overwhelming grief they are facing at losing loved ones, homes and all normal stability. Please ask the Prince of Peace to intervene in their hearts and minds as we know he can.
