John 16:4-15 (March 18th)
Read John 16:4-15.
Why do we need the Holy Spirit?
As we saw yesterday, Christians will often face a hostile world, and need the Holy Spirit to testify to Jesus. Up to this point in John’s gospel, Jesus had been physically with the disciples and so had been the focus of opposition, but now he is preparing them for what they will face. The Holy Spirit gives power for witness - he will convict the world, despite the weakness of the disciples. And he guides us today to know what Jesus show us from the Father.

Think: What does the Holy Spirit do?
Do Jesus and the Holy Spirit ever disagree? Why not?
Pray: for the Holy Spirit to guide us in all the truth
Do: make a secret message (write ‘the truth’ in lemon juice, or white crayon, or using the water/impression relief method)
