Sarah Coleman (nee Hopkins)

I attended St John’s when I moved back from college to Dorset in 2009. Living and working in Africa has always been on my heart, and the right opportunity came for me to move to Cape Town, South Africa, in January 2020, and to use my Integrative Arts Psychotherapy training and sewing skills.
I have been doing lots of training this past year to enable me to run and teach a Christian trauma healing course for adults and children. The women and children I have done this with have been greatly helped with their trauma and been able to see how Christ can help them. Please pray that I can continue to bless people using this model and that, through it, people will come to know Christ personally for themselves.
Please pray:
-
that the women I have been mentoring and teaching sewing to would be able to develop a business and start earning an income from what they make;
-
that I will be able to train and equip church workers so that more underprivileged people can be helped and can come to know Christ;
-
that I can continue to use my skills to glorify God through my ministry;
-
for safety where I live and travel;
-
for the safe arrival of Baby Coleman.
