You can expect to be:
* involved in Bible teaching ministry, including with children & youth
* trained in Bible teaching ministry, as part of a staff team, by attending a regular Bible teaching course and conferences
* serving the church family by helping with practical and administrative work
You will be signing up to a voluntary training scheme and as such there will be no remuneration in respect of your involvement with the work at St John’s. However, you will receive a grant and the costs of training will be provided to help you explore Christian ministry.

We have changed the way we do Facebook at St John’s. We are now a page not a place or a person.
To find us on Facebook search for St John’s Wimborne as a page, and then like us.
It is a great way of keeping informed about what’s going on at St John’s.
At St John’s we are passionate not only to teach the Bible but also to be encouraged by how members of our church family have seen God at work in the day to day realities of our lives.
We would love for people to share their testimonies of God’s faithfulness, and speak about how their Christian faith affects their day to day lives. Currently we struggle to find people who are willing to share such things in our Sunday services.
If you would be willing to do this, please let the Church Office know, so that we can have a pool of people to be involved in this important ministry of encouragement.
Those willing to share their testimony could do it during a Sunday service or be filmed in advance, which could then be shown in a service.
