We are looking to appoint one Church Trainee for a one-year term, extendible to two years by negotiation, from September 2018. Ideally, you will be a graduate or will have had equivalent working experience. It would be preferable for you to have a desire to explore full-time Christian ministry (though it is open to all). A willingness to grow in a biblical understanding is essential and you should come recommended by your own local church.
For further information please contact: Mrs Gillian Mannouch, Senior Administrator, St John’s Church, 71 Leigh Road, Wimborne BH21 1AE email: email@example.com tel: 01202 847910
The Bookstall is open on Sundays in the Conservatory between the morning services for Christian books, Bible notes, Bibles and greetings cards. Bible notes can be pre-ordered.
There are lots of new greetings cards on the Bookstall. Also, have a good look at the bookshelves in the corner of the Conservatory, there are just wonderful titles there of Christian books – and all for free! Have a browse!
Book Vouchers are now available for purchase from the Bookstall for any amount. Why not buy one for a friend, they can present it at the Bookstall at any time in exchange for a book or books of their choice?
Please do not park in front of the Hall fire exit door.
To avoid congestion, when you exit the car park please turn right into Legg Lane and return to Leigh Road via Parkwood Road and Lewens Lane.
The Elim Church Car Park is NOT available for free parking. Please do not park there at any time.
We have changed the way we do Facebook at St John’s. We are now a page not a place or a person.
To find us on Facebook search for St John’s Wimborne as a page, and then like us.
It is a great way of keeping informed about what’s going on at St John’s.
At St John’s we are passionate not only to teach the Bible but also to be encouraged by how members of our church family have seen God at work in the day to day realities of our lives.
We would love for people to share their testimonies of God’s faithfulness, and speak about how their Christian faith affects their day to day lives. Currently we struggle to find people who are willing to share such things in our Sunday services.
If you would be willing to do this, please let the Church Office know, so that we can have a pool of people to be involved in this important ministry of encouragement.
Those willing to share their testimony could do it during a Sunday service or be filmed in advance, which could then be shown in a service.
